Unique baby boy names and unique baby girl names are not easy to find. With this in mind we have compiled names that are unique to particular cultures e.g. Celtic baby names.
Of course when a name has been used more than once it is no longer, strictly speaking, unique. But I think what we all have in mind when we say unique is actually more in the line of uncommon baby names, rare baby names or even odd baby names.
This is the way we have structured this site. A list and the meaning of baby names is provided according to each category. As well as these categories we are listing our favorite top 100 baby boy names and our top 100 baby girl names. All in all there should be plenty there to get you started on your search.
